Minecraft Snapshot 25w33a: End Dimension Flashes, Copper Golem Interaction & Chat Draft Save Feature

Minecraft Snapshot 25w33a: What’s New and What’s Happening?

Minecraft Snapshot 25w33a — Check Out the Fun New Features!

Friends, the new Snapshot 25w33a brings some adorable little changes from Mojang that will make you smile. Let’s go through them in a fun, easy-to-read way:

1. Shining Skies in the End (End Dimension Flashes)

Now, in the End dimension, you’ll occasionally see a sudden purple flash — like a magical moment in the sky.
This is part of the Vibrant Visuals update and is now enabled by default in the Java version.
The flash gently colors the whole skybox, making the game world feel more alive and immersive.

2. Copper Golem and Iron Golem’s Flower Friendship

If a Copper Golem is nearby, there’s a chance an Iron Golem will slowly place a red poppy on it. Cute, right?
If you don’t want it there, you can remove it with shears. And if the Copper Golem turns into a statue, the flower will drop naturally.

3. Chat Draft Save Feature

Ever been typing something in chat, then suddenly died or switched screens — and poof, your message vanished? Not anymore!
In 25w33a, Mojang added a life-saving feature — if chat closes unexpectedly (like when you die or a dialog box appears), your message is saved as a draft.
When you reopen chat, it will appear faded. You can click it, type more, or use arrow keys to continue.
There’s also a setting to make it save automatically every time.

4. Shelf Block Item Positioning Fixed

In the previous version, items on shelves sat too low, and many builders didn’t like it.
In this snapshot, Mojang listened — now items appear centered on the shelf, and their size has been adjusted.
Building just got a lot more satisfying!

5. Redstone & Data Pack Changes (Technical Enhancements)

25w33a also brings updates for Redstone engineers and data pack creators — like the new structure registry, the entry_pool loot tag, and improved shearable_from_copper_golem tags.
This is more for advanced users but sets the foundation for bigger updates later.

Why This Snapshot Is Special

25w33a might not be a massive overhaul, but it adds small touches that make everyday gameplay delightful — whether it’s a poppy gift, saving your witty chat messages, or magical flashes in the End.

Mojang listens to its players and keeps improving the game — so keep an eye out for what’s coming next!
